Abstract：

Smart grid is a typical cyber physical system that tightly integrates cyber communications, control, and computation domain and the physical power grid domain. Greenness and security are two main requirements as well as challenges in the smart grid. This talk mainly includes three parts. In the first part, we introduce the smart grid scenarios, key concepts, and cyber physical smart grid systems architecture. In the second part, we will present the greenness aspect based on the demand response management framework. In the third part, we will present reliability and security aspects when there are cyber attackers on price information, grid components physical damage, and wide penetration of electronic vehicles.

张彦博士简介

Yan Zhang is currently senior research scientist at Simula Research Laboratory, Norway. He is an adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway. He received PhD degree in School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is an associate editor or guest editor of a number of international journals. He is currently serving the Book Series Editor for the book series on "Wireless Networks and Mobile Communications" (Auerbach Publications, CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group). He serves as organizing committee chair for many international conferences. His recent research interests include cyber physical systems, smart grid communications and networking, and machine-to-machine communications. He is a senior member of IEEE and IEEE ComSoc.

张彦博士现为挪威奥斯陆大学助理教授，同时也是挪威Simula实验室的高级研究员。在此之前张博士分别在新加坡南洋理工大学、 北京航空航天大学、南京邮电大学获得博士、硕士和学士学位。他的研究方向包括：CPS、智能电网通信与网络、M2M等。张博士是IEEE和IEEEComSoc的高级会员。详细情况可以浏览张博士主页：http://folk.uio.no/yanzhang/
