Guoqi Xie is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. He is the Director of the Key Laboratory for Embedded and Network Computing of Hunan Province at Hunan University and the Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology at Changsha University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Hunan University, China, in 2014. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Nagoya University, Japan. He is the founder and project leader of ZVM, an embedded real-time operating system with integrated virtualization. His research interests include embedded systems, real-time systems, embedded virtualization, and system software adaptation and porting. He received the 2018 IEEE TCSC Early Career Researcher Award. He currently serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Systems Architecture, Microprocessors and Microsystems, and Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers. He is a Senior Member of both the IEEE and the ACM.
