Short Summary

Dr. Guoqi Xie is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Hunan University and the Director of the Key Laboratory for Embedded and Network Computing of Hunan Province. He received a Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from Hunan University, China, in 2014. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Nagoya University, Japan. He is the founder and leader of ZVM (Zephyr-based Virtual Machine), which is a new-generation Type 1.5 embedded virtualization solution (Hypervisor). His current research interests include real-time systems, embedded virtualization, time-sensitive networking, system safety and security. He is currently serving on the secretary-general of the CCF Technical Committee on Embedded Systems and the editorial boards of the Journal of Systems Architecture, the Microprocessors and Microsystems, and the Journal of Circuits, Systems, and Computers. He is an IEEE senior member and ACM senior member.
